Well drained fertile soil in full sun. Broadcast 5 lbs. of 10-10-10 over a 8x30 area. Rake till smooth and let water settle bed. A week or two later, lay off two rows four feet apart, two feet from edge of bed. Set plants two feet apart in rows with crown just above soil line. Pinch off blooms first year.

Important Note: strawberries are sold in "Bundles of 25" plants. For example if you enter a quantity of 1. That will be 1 bundle of 25 plants for $9.95. If you enter a quantity of 2, that will be 50 plants for $18.50 and so on.

Because of record setting rainfall we are experiencing a delay in shipping strawberry plants. We anticipate shipping Sweet Charlie and Chandler by the second week of November.

Cardinal - Mid season and developed especially for the south. Huge fruit, very sweet and of good shape. Heavy disease resistance. Zones 5-8. Available for shipment December 15, 2009.
Chandler - Large mid season. Similar to Cardinal, but with longer fruiting season. Does well in warmer climates. Excellent for commercial growers. Zones 4-8. Available for Fall Shipping November 15, 2009.
  Ozark Beauty - Bears throughout the summer until frost. Juicy red berries are good for fresh eating as well as freezing. Large bright red and sweet. Hardy and vigorous. Zones 4-8. Available for shipment December 15, 2009.
