We are beginning our 9th year of Fall Fun in the Country! If you have not experienced our farm, we invite you to visit us this year. This is an exciting, educational and fun field trip for your class, club, church or group. You will experience the many sights of Fall as well as animals and huge catfish. We do not have any scary scenes. We offer a warm, unrushed friendly atmosphere.

Your Field Trip:

When you first arrive you will board a hay wagon for a fun trip through "Fall Forest" where you will see scenes representing the months August through December. Next, walk down the docks and feed the HUGE catfish in our 11 acre lake. You’ll wish you had your fishing pole. Then, visit all of our Fun Fact Centers where you will learn about:
Apples: Hear the story of Johnny Appleseed. Find out which states
grow the most apples. Learn why we like to give our teachers an apple!
Spiders: See the live tarantulas and scorpions! Learn about the different body parts of a spider. Learn how many different types of spiders there are
and what they have for lunch!
Squirrels: See a live Chinchilla. Find out how long squirrels live and how
they communicate with each other and how they sharpen their
teeth.
Scarecrows: Learn the history of scarecrows and what their purpose was.
You will also build a real scarecrow!
Indians: Go inside our brand new Indian Teepee and see and feel the
animal furs that were used for clothing, blankets and shelter.

Then, proceed to our animal petting area and feed the anxiously awaiting farm animals. From there you'll go to an area for washing your hands. You may bring your lunch or a snack and enjoy them under our covered picnic area. Finally, visit the pumpkin patch to pick out your very own pumpkin-mini to carry home!

* Please note that each year we make various changes / additions to the field trips
