Pam © - Bronze Female. 21% sugar. Pam has the largest clusters of grapes in production. It is the heaviest producing female of all varieties. Dry scar. Ripens early to mid-season. Very vigorous. Skin edible. Disease resistant.. Patent #7707.   
Janet © - Bronze Female. 21% sugar, very large, excellent quality, large clusters, very productive, cold hardy. Latest ripening bronze female. Patent pending.  
Early Fry - © - Bronze Female. This is the variety everyone has been waiting for. You asked for an early one and this is it. Ripens two weeks earlier than Fry. Very large, very high yields. Ripens uniformly in clusters, easy to pick. 18% sugar. Patent #9224.

Black Beauty © - Black Female. 23% sugar. Dry scar, large fruit, skin edible, ripens uniformly, large clusters, very vigorous, one of the best black varieties. Ripens mid to late season. Patent #7592.  
Sugargate © - Black Female. 23% sugar, vine very vigorous, very large and excellent flavor. Dry scar, large clusters. Earliest ripening of the black females. Not recommended for Gulf Coast area. Patent #4056.  
Black Fry © - Black Female. 19% sugar, very productive, good quality, ripens uniformly, large clusters, disease resistant. Comparable with Fry. Ripens early to mid season.Patent #5824.  
Scarlet - Red, Female. 17% sugar. New release from Dr. Ron Lane of University of Ga. Experiment Station. Good size and quality.. Patent.

Concord Seedless - Blue - black grape similar to the seeded Concord, yet sweeter and seedless. Great for fresh eating, juice, pies, and jellies. Zones 5-8.
Himrod - The hardiest and best quality of the white grapes. Flavor is excellent with sweet, juicy grapes. Berries are large and make excellent raisins. Pale green to yellow fruit. Seedless and ripens 28 days before Concord. Zones 5-8.
Lakemont - Light green to gold grape. Juicy, crisp and has a great flavor. Great for fresh eating. Has the largest, tightest clusters of all grapes. Hardy to Zone 5. Seedless and ripens 10-20 days before Concord.
Mars - Purple Seedless, more resistant to mildews. Good commercial potential, cold hardy. Performs well in humid areas. Ripens 16 days before Conord. Zones 5-8.
  Red Flame - Light red seedless table grape is popular for its crisp flavor. Elongated loose, medium sized clusters, ripens early. Prefers plenty of heat during ripening period. Zones 7-10.
Reliance - Pink seedless, one week later than Venus, cold hardy, buds out later. Delightful flavor and very sweet. Excellent U-pick and roadside variety. Adapted for North and South. Patent #5170. Ripens 18 days before Concord. Zones 4-9.
Thompson Seedless - Green Seedless, ripens in early mid season. Top Commercial green grape. Clusters are well filled. Will grow in hot climates. Excellent for wine. Ripens in August. Zones 5-8.
Vanessa - A wonderful red grape with large, sweet fruit. Develops in large clusters. Very disease resistant, resists cracking, and winter hardy. Seedless and ripens mid-September. Zones 7-9
Venus - Large deep purple to Black seedless. Very early, attractive, very productive and buds out early. Winter hardy and disease resistant. Great for fresh eating and jellies. Ripens mid-August. Zones 5-8.

Concord - Best known and most widely grown. A beautiful blue grape with large bunches. Excellent for jelly, jams, and preserves and fresh juice. Seeded and ripens late September. Zones 4-9.
Niagra - Light green seeded, huge thick skinned, resistant to cracking, makes destinctive white wine, ripens late September. Zones 5-9.

Chardonel - Late ripening white seeded wine grape which produces a high quality wine with varietal character. Superior to “Chardonnay”. Highly productive and cold hardy.
Chambourcin - A late ripening seeded blue grape which produces a highly rated red wine when fruit fully matures. It requires a long growing season and a site less subject to low winter temperatures. The large, moderately loose bunches set medium sized berries. The vine is very productive and cluster thinning is required. Zones 4-7.
Cynthiana - Blue/Black seeded fruit. Medium to small clusters. Late ripening. Makes most expensive red wine of the hardy varieties. Good fruit intensity and quality. Zones 4-7.

Apache - Apache - Largest thornless, upright berry available. Sweet, cone shaped
berry. Late season. Excellent quality, cold hardy and high yielding. Patent #11865. Zones 6-9.
Arapaho - Thornless, cold hardy disease resistant, well rooted. Excellent quality. Ripens 11 days prior to Navaho. Patent # 8510. Zones 4-9.
  Choctaw -Thorny, high quality productive variety. Ripens earlier in the season than other varieties and will provide for expanded blackberry fruiting season. Fruit ripens uniformly. Almost seedless. Patent #6678. Zones 5-8.
  Kiowa - Extremely large thorny berry. The best quality and best firmness of all varieties. Long harvest season of 6 weeks. Heavy producer. 1996 University of Arkansas. Zones 5-9.
Navaho - Thornless, late ripening (mid-June). Has quality equal to Cheyenne and Shawnee. Best overall variety. Stands temperatures down to (-9) degrees F. Highly recommended. Patent # 6679. Zones 6-10.
Ouachita - Newest variety from the U. of Ark. Upright, thornless. Very high fruit yield. Large fruit size. Ripens
between Arapaho and Navaho. Patent pending. Zones 5-9.
Prime Jan - (Primocane Blackberry, everbearing) New release from the Univ of Ark. Thorny variety that produces a crop in June and starts another crop in late July and bears until frost. Berries have a good taste and are medium in size. Canes are can be grown in hedgerows. Zones 4-8.
Prime Jim - (Primocane Blackberry, everbearing) New release from Univ of Ark. Thorny berries have a good taste and are average in size. Like Prime Jan they also have 2 crops, one in the spring and a good full crop in late summer. Another great berry for home gardeners. Zones 4-8.
  Rosebrough - Thorny, very large fruit. Sweet heavy yields. Early variety with excellent quality. Very Hardy. Average ripening date is middle of May. Ripens over a long period, approx. 25 days. Withstands moderately dry weather. Zones 5-9.
  Shawnee - Thorny high quality and very productive. Has consistently high fruit yields and large fruit size. Ripens late and over a longer period of time than most. Fruit is shiny, firm and large. Disease resistant. Patent #5686. Zones 5-9.

Black Satin - Thornless and vigorous. Disease resistant. Berries are large, oblong, dark and firm. Excellent for jams, jellies, pies or fresh eating. Not recommended for Coastal plains or Gulf of Mexico. Zones 5-9

Fall Gold Everbearing - Large, sweet golden berries. Upright and thorny shrubs. Very vigorous and productive. Winter hardy. Zones 4-8.
Nova - Almost thornless and produces bright red medium to large berries. Early season with a nice but tart flavor. Upright, winter hardy, disease resistant, and does well in warm climates. Tolerates temperature changes very well. Zones 5-8.

Brightwell - Early season, right after Climax and ahead of Tiftblue. Average fruit size. Very firm. Plants grow upright and open. Berries are light blue with excellent quality and flavor. Yields are high. Pollinate with Tiftblue or Climax. Zones 6-9.
Climax - Earliest ripening and our favorite here at Ison's. Grows upright and open. Vigorous growing bush with long ripening season. Get 6-10' at maturity. Berries are medium to large. Dark blue in color and a good flavor. Ripens 5 days prior to Brightwell. Zones 6-9.
Tiftblue - Mid to late season. Has been the most popular and widespread planted variety because of its appearance, productivity, and shipping qualities. Berries are large, firm, light blue and very high flavored. Reaches height of 8-14' at maturity. Zones 6-9.
Powderblue -Mid season ripening, highly productive with medium to large size, sweet fruit, darker blue in color. Excellent quality. Zones 6-9.
Premier - Early to mid season. Large berries, high quality. Keeps well. Good for u-pick and fresh market. Bright green foliage makes it good for ornamental. Highly productive. Zones 6-9.

Cardinal - Mid season and developed especially for the south. Huge fruit, very sweet and of good shape. Heavy disease resistance. Zones 5-8.
Chandler - Large mid season. Similar to Cardinal, but with longer fruiting season. Does well in warmer climates. Excellent for commercial growers. Zones 4-8.
Everbeaing Ozark - Bears throughout the Summer until frost. Juicy red berries good for fresh eating as well as freezing. Large bright red and sweet. Hardy and vigorous. Zones 4-8.
Tennessee Beauty - A truly delightful berry, medium to large with long conic shape. Glossy medium to deep red color. Excellent for the table as well as freezing. Zones 4-8.

Boysenberry - This is an improved Loganberrry and its much juicier, larger - lobed fruit than the black berry. Method of growing is similar to black berry except the new canes tend to run along the ground and must be tied up after the fruiting canes are finished. Thornless and very large, ripens over a long period of time. Zones 5-9. Fruit yield: 4-8 qts per vine.
  Dewberry - Much like the blackberry except the canes are more procumbent and are easier to work on fence. Plants tend to run on ground. Pruning and training are the same as blackberries. Fruit yields: 2-4 qts. Per vine. Zones 5-10.
Gooseberries - Light green berries turn pink when ripe. The fruit is juicy, somewhat tart if not fully ripe and is best used for preserves and pies. The bush has an ornamental value with its glossy green leaves that turn purple in the Fall. Bush grows 4-6' tall and can be used as a hedge. Ripens late May to early July.
  Loganberry - Thornless medium to large lavender-red berry. Soft tart, or sour fruit because of high acidity. Excellent for pies, juice, canning and wine making. Hardy to Zone 6, ripens in June.
