favorite fruit that has been around for hundreds of years. Useful
as landscape plants as well as for fruit. Attractive orange red
flowers. Fountain shaped shrub or tree, depending on the training.
Needs sun for best flowers and fruit. Drought tolerant. Grows
well in alkaline soil that would kill most plants. Cold hardy.
Ripens in October. 150-200 chill hours needed. Zones 5-9. |

Angel
Red® - New (Patent #16578) Unique gourmet fruit.
Bright red, large fruit produces almost a month ahead of Wonderful.
Excellent flavor, bears heavy crops, has soft seeds that can
be chewed and eaten, and has a vivid red color. Yields high
volumes of antioxidant juice. Ripens late Aug to early Sept.
Mature height if unpruned 15-18’. 150-200 chill hours.
