Black Tartarian cherry is an excellent and very popular variety for your home orchard.  The flavor is very rich, robust and sweet and a favorite for many.  It is juicy and has a blackish red colored skin.  Fruit is large in size and perfect for fresh-eating and juice.  Black Tartarian is a perfect pollinator for other sweet cherries.   Bears at an early age and ripens early in the season.

Fully mature cherry tree grow to about 18-25′ tall and wide. Cherry trees make excellent shade trees as well as providing delicious fruit.

These trees have a 1″ Caliper and many are approximately 6-7′ tall. The trees are not guaranteed to fruit the year of planting although many will. By ordering larger trees you in essence are buying time. You will shorten the amount of time it takes for your trees to reach fruit bearing age and enjoy the benefit of harvesting fruit sooner.

NOTE:  Black Tartarian is a self-fertile but will produce more fruit when planting with a different sweet cherry variety.
