Surh Anor is a Russian Pomegranate.

A very cold hardy and productive pomegranate, Surh-Anor produces amazing crops of pinkish yellow poms with bright yellow arils that have an extremely sweet flavor. Ripens early but will still need the hottest location possible in cooler climates.

Surh-Anor Pomegranate Trees are a slightly larger tree compared to some Pomegranates, and the trees reach heights of 10 to 12 feet, with widths of 6 to 8 feet. They are drought tolerant, grow at a moderate pace, and do best in full sun. Surh-Anor Pomegranate Trees are easy to grow and can be maintained as a small tree, or an ornamental, fruit-producing shrub.

Surh-Anor Pomegranate Trees can be grown in a wide range of soil types, as long as the soil has adequate organic matter and drains well. They are cold tolerant down to freezing temperatures, and can also withstand dry conditions and even drought. However, properly fed and watered trees will always produce more and better fruit.
