The Wonderful Pomegranate is the most well known pomegranate and is known for delicious “POM” juice you can buy in your local grocery stores. The ‘Wonderful’ pomegranate is the most widely planted variety and is prized for its dark deep red fruit and the delicious superior tart-sweet flavor and very high juice content. It is a vigorous, deciduous, self-fertile shrub or small tree growing 8–15 feet tall, blooming with showy, orange-red flowers in spring/summer.
