The Korean Giant Asian Pear is prized for producing enormous golden-brown fruit that can grow as large as a grapefruit. Its firm, crisp, juicy flesh is exceptionally sweet with a rich, refreshing flavor that makes it one of the finest Asian pears for fresh eating. The fruit also stores exceptionally well, allowing you to enjoy your harvest for months after picking.

This vigorous tree is both attractive and highly productive, growing into a beautiful specimen tree with dependable annual crops. Fruit typically ripens in early October in most climates, providing a late-season harvest of outstanding quality.

Our Instant Orchard™ trees feature a 3/4″ – 1″ trunk caliper and are typically 6–7 feet tall at the time of shipping. While fruit production is not guaranteed the first year after planting, many trees will produce early. By planting a larger tree, you’re investing in time—bringing your orchard to fruit-bearing age sooner and enjoying delicious homegrown pears earlier than with standard-sized trees.
