The Parfianka pomegranate is a great variety from Turkmenistan and is well known for producing beautiful heavy crops of delicious bright red fruit.  The arils are soft seeded with a sweet-tart flavor.   This self-pollinating, drought-tolerant tree grows 6–10 feet tall, features vibrant red-orange flowers, and bears fruit in 2–3 years. It is ideal for both fresh eating and juicing, often considered one of the best-tasting cultivars available
.

Characteristics:
    • Fruit: Large, with deep red, juicy, and soft-seeded arils.
    • Size: 6–10 ft tall (can be maintained lower with pruning).
    • Growth Rate: Medium to vigorous.
    • Hardiness: Zones 7–10, hardy to 10 degrees.
    • Light: Full sun to 1/2 day sun.
    • Soil: Well-drained soil.
    • Water: Drought-tolerant once established, but requires regular water for best fruit production (3-8 gallons per week in summer).

Growing Tips
