The very sweet flesh has a rich honey flavor and has often been called the “sugar fig”. Produces medium sized figs even in unfavorable weather. Skin is Brownish color with rose flesh. Very widely planted variety. The most cold hardy variety available. This one is an excellent variety for fig preserves and also for dried fruit.  Self-fertile
