Yellow Delicious has been a favorite of home gardeners for generations, producing beautiful golden-yellow apples with crisp, juicy flesh and a rich, sweet flavor. This versatile variety is excellent for fresh eating, baking, applesauce, cider, and freezing, making it one of the finest all-purpose apples you can grow.

In addition to producing abundant, high-quality fruit, Yellow Delicious is an excellent pollinator for many other apple varieties, making it a valuable addition to any home orchard. Fruit typically ripens from September through October.

Our Instant Orchard™ trees feature a 3/4″- 1″ trunk caliper and are typically 6–7 feet tall at the time of shipping. While fruit production is not guaranteed the first year after planting, many trees will produce early. By planting a larger tree, you’re investing in time—bringing your orchard to fruit-bearing age sooner and enjoying delicious homegrown apples earlier than with standard-sized trees.
