Instant Orchard™ Shinko Asian Pear Tree

Enjoy crisp, flavorful Asian pears sooner with our Instant Orchard™ Shinko Asian Pear Tree. These premium oversized trees are much larger than standard nursery stock, allowing you to establish a productive orchard faster and begin harvesting delicious fruit years earlier.

The Shinko Asian Pear, often called an apple pear, produces round fruit with attractive brownish-green skin and crisp, juicy flesh. Its rich, sweet flavor and refreshing crunch make it an excellent choice for fresh eating, fruit trays, salads, and desserts. The fruit also stores exceptionally well, allowing you to enjoy your harvest long after picking.

This vigorous, dependable tree produces abundant crops of high-quality fruit that typically ripen in mid-August. For the best fruit production, Shinko should be planted with another compatible Asian or European pear variety for cross-pollination.

Our Instant Orchard™ trees feature a 3/4″ to 1″ trunk caliper and are typically 6–7 feet tall at the time of shipping. While fruit production is not guaranteed the first year after planting, many trees will produce early. By planting a larger tree, you’re investing in time—bringing your orchard to fruit-bearing age sooner and enjoying delicious homegrown pears earlier than with standard-sized trees.
