Golden Nectar is an outstanding plum variety that produces extra-large, beautiful golden-yellow fruit with firm, amber-colored flesh. Its tender texture and superb sweet flavor make it a favorite for fresh eating, desserts, preserves, and canning. The fruit ripens evenly and has earned Blue Ribbon honors at many fairs for its outstanding quality and taste.

A vigorous and productive tree, Golden Nectar ripens in late July, providing an abundant midsummer harvest of premium-quality plums. This variety requires a compatible plum variety nearby for cross-pollination and reliable fruit production.

Our Instant Orchard™ trees feature a ¾”–1″ trunk caliper and are typically 6–7 feet tall at the time of shipping. While fruit production is not guaranteed the first year after planting, many trees will produce early. By planting a larger tree, you’re investing in time—bringing your orchard to fruit-bearing age sooner and enjoying delicious homegrown plums earlier than with standard-sized trees.
