Orient Pear Tree

The Orient Pear is a dependable, heavy-producing pear tree that is prized for its large, beautiful fruit and excellent disease resistance. The pears have an attractive golden-green skin with a light blush when ripe, making them as appealing to the eye as they are to the taste.

The fruit is large and firm with juicy, creamy, melting flesh that offers a smooth texture and rich, sweet flavor. Orient pears are delicious fresh off the tree and are also excellent for canning, baking, preserves, and other favorite recipes.

A vigorous grower, the Orient Pear is highly resistant to fire blight and requires minimal pruning, making it an excellent choice for both beginning and experienced gardeners. The fruit ripens in late summer, providing an abundant harvest for years to come.
