Caroline Red Raspberry
The Caroline Red Raspberry is an outstanding everbearing variety known for producing heavy crops of large, firm berries with exceptional flavor. Caroline’s vigorous canes produce abundant harvests of beautiful, bright red raspberries that are perfect for fresh eating, freezing, homemade jams, jellies, baking, and desserts. In warmer southern climates, Caroline begins ripening even earlier, allowing gardeners to enjoy delicious raspberries sooner in the season.
This everbearing variety provides two harvests each year. The floricane crop ripens in July, followed by a second crop on the current season’s canes from September until frost, giving you months of fresh, flavorful berries.
Caroline is also known for its improved tolerance to root rot compared to Heritage, making it a dependable performer in a wide range of growing conditions. Easy to grow and highly productive, it performs best in full sun with well-drained soil.
