Methley Plum Tree

The Methley Plum Tree is one of the most popular and dependable Japanese plum varieties, prized for its early harvest, outstanding flavor, and excellent pollination qualities. A favorite among home gardeners, this vigorous tree produces heavy crops of medium to large plums with beautiful purplish-red skin and juicy amber-tinged flesh.

Methley plums are known for their exceptionally sweet, mild flavor and tender, juicy texture, making them a favorite for fresh eating right off the tree. They are also excellent for homemade jams, jellies, preserves, and desserts.

An early bloomer and heavy producer, the Methley Plum Tree ripens its delicious fruit in early June, giving you one of the first plum harvests of the season. It is self-fertile, so you can enjoy fruit from a single tree, but it is also one of the best pollinators for other Japanese plum varieties, helping increase yields throughout your orchard.

Easy to grow and highly productive, the Methley Plum Tree is an excellent choice for both beginning and experienced fruit growers.
