The Matsumoto Persimmon Tree is also known as Matsumoto Wase-Fuyu. This delicious persimmon is slightly rounder and larger than the Fuyugaki. It is non-astringent and ripens slightly earlier, around late September to October. Ripens 2 weeks earlier than the Fuyugaki persimmon and is an excellent variety for both commercial and backyard production.

Non-Astringent

Self-fertile. (Persimmons can be planted with just one variety but you will increase fruit yields by planting two different varieties.)  Begins producing fruit at 3 years
