Product Description

____________________________________________________________

The Everest Seedless Bunch Grape (NY98.0228.02) is a truly seedless Concord-type grape offering a flavorful berry with the attractive blue coloring of a Concord at nearly double the size.  YES, that is right.  Almost twice the size of the concord seedless grape.  1 vine can produce up to 30 lbs. of fruit and that is amazing for a bunch grape.

The Everest Seedless Bunch Grape is a 2017 release from Cornell University and work of  Bruce Reisch.

Everest bears large clusters of large, seedless juicy berries with a flavor similar to the famed Concord grape.  You will enjoy its soft, juicy distinctly flavorful fruit. The large, productive vines of Everest Seedless™  ripen early to mid-season.

Insects don’t seem to bother these grapes, according to Reisch, who said the variety has thrived in research vineyards where insecticides are not applied, but insects could be a problem at other locations.

The Everest Bunch Grape exhibits moderate resistance to downy and powdery mildew.

“Everest is one of the largest mountains in the world, and this is one very large grape,” Reisch said. “With its formidable ancestry and big flavor, we feel this variety can live up to its name.”

A great choice for home gardeners and pick-your-own operations
