AU Rosa Plum Tree
Self-fertile

The AU Rosa Plum is an outstanding Japanese plum developed by Auburn University and is prized for its delicious fruit, dependable production, and excellent disease resistance. This vigorous tree produces an abundance of large, attractive plums with beautiful reddish-purple skin and sweet, juicy golden flesh.

The fruit has a rich, sweet flavor with just the right balance of tartness, making it perfect for fresh eating right off the tree. AU Rosa is also an excellent choice for jams, jellies, preserves, baking, and canning.

One of the best features of the AU Rosa is that it is self-pollinating, allowing it to produce fruit without another plum tree nearby. However, planting an additional Japanese plum variety can increase pollination and result in even heavier harvests.

Highly resistant to many common plum diseases, AU Rosa is a reliable performer for home orchards throughout much of the United States. The fruit ripens in late June to early July, providing an early summer harvest of beautiful, flavorful plums.
