We are Shane and Kim from Kinfolk Farm in Woodbury, GA.
Growing up we found a love for Muscadines. Every September, we would go to a vineyard in Conyers, GA and pick gallons of them to eat.

Seven years ago we moved to Woodbury in search of a quieter, better life. We soon decided to plant a couple of rows of muscadines for ourselves to enjoy. But soon a couple rows turned into many, many rows as our passion grew for them. Before we knew it we had 299 plants. We realized that this would be a perfect opportunity to provide a you-pick vineyard to the community while having extra income that will supplement our future retirement plans. What we once considered a hobby farm has now become a true farm that is open to the public.

With the help of Ison’s Nursery, we were taught how to properly grow and tend to our plants. They have held our hand, these past five years, as we have prepared to open as a you-pick muscadine vineyard.
This year we successfully opened up to the public. (Our muscadine season is generally late Aug – Sept)

In addition to muscadines, we also breed and raise hogs and we have planted many blackberry plants to have as an extra product for our customers. We also offer fresh eggs and homemade jelly.

This new adventure led to us meeting many new people and making new friends. We look forward to meeting many more friends in the seasons to come.

Shane and Kim came to our nursery with a dream and a plan. It has been a pleasure to walk along beside them and offer guidance when needed. You will enjoy their channel on YouTube. They cover a broad range of homesteading topics.

We are starting a new series high-lighting customers that have their own farm businesses.

This is open to all business types including wineries, commercial vineyards, you-pick strawberry or berry farms. We have some customers that their primary focus is as a venue for events or weddings.
