Fuzzy Kiwi Vines

Grow your own delicious, supermarket-quality kiwis right at home! Fuzzy Kiwi vines produce the large, sweet, brown fuzzy fruit that most people recognize from the grocery store. These vigorous, fast-growing vines are both productive and ornamental, making them an excellent addition to the home landscape.

In spring, the vines are covered with large, fragrant white flowers, followed by lush green foliage that quickly covers arbors, trellises, pergolas, and fences. Once established, Fuzzy Kiwi vines produce abundant crops of flavorful fruit that ripen in October.

Fuzzy Kiwi plants are easy to grow in full sun to partial sun and prefer well-drained soil. They are generally free of serious pests and diseases and are hardy to approximately 0°F.

Female vines require a Male Fuzzy Kiwi for pollination. One male vine will pollinate up to 8 female vines. Male plants produce beautiful flowers but do not bear fruit.

Expect your first harvest approximately 3–4 years after planting.
