Currant Plants

Currents generally ship from mid-December – April.
(***  Please Note:  We ship to colder states beginning in late March and April unless requested earlier.)

Currants are a beautiful addition to the landscape with bright spring flowers, colorful berries and lobed foliage.

Currants make a refreshing juice and black currants, in particular, have almost 3 1/2 times the amount of Vitamin C as fresh oranges, on a gram to gram basis.

Currants can grow with partial shade but will crop more heavily and yield sweeter-tasting fruits in sunny spots.
