The Lane muscadine is a black self-fertile and is the newest release from University of Georgia. Produces medium to large fruit. Ripens early, with harvest taking place the first two weeks of August in south Georgia. The Lane muscadine has a crisp skin and firm pulp which adheres to the skin. Very sweet with 19% sugar. Excellent variety to add to your home vineyard! Ideal for commercial use as well.
