The Sumner pecan tree produces very large nuts with good quality and darker colored kernels. It is also very disease resistant. Upright growth and semi open canopy. An excellent choice for home growers and is good for close space planting.  48 nuts per lb.  The Sumner is currently Georgia’s favorite cultivar.

Pecan trees require cross-pollination to bare nuts. You will need 2 different varieties.
