Moonglow Pear Tree
The Moonglow Pear is an excellent choice for home orchards, producing large, high-quality pears with attractive brownish-green skin and exceptionally smooth, juicy flesh. Nearly free of grit, these pears have a sweet, mild flavor that makes them perfect for fresh eating, canning, and preserving.
One of the biggest advantages of Moonglow is its early harvest, ripening in early August, approximately two weeks before Bartlett. You’ll enjoy delicious homegrown pears while many other varieties are still maturing.
