Southern Sensation Bunch Grape –  One of the most disease resistant bunch grapes available!  This very productive white seedless grape produces delicious fruity flavored grapes and grows in delicious large clusters.  Fruit is medium sized berries.  This is a wonderful fresh eating variety and one of the easiest and trouble free bunch grapes you can get.    Berry clusters are huge and have been known to weigh up to a pound!  This variety thrives in high and humid temperatures.

What makes this white seedless variety so wonderful is that during testing in Texas, after many many years of production there were never any signs of Pierce’s Disease.  Even after 10 plus years of production, none of the plants showed any Pierce’s Disease.  That makes this variety a game changer.

In 2021, the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture and Texas A&M University cooperatively released a new table grape, Southern Sensation Seedless. What makes this grape special is that after thirty-four years of trialing in central and southeastern Texas, areas with extreme pressure from Pierce’s Disease (Xylella fastidiosa), no Pierce’s Disease (PD) symptoms have been observed and vines have remained productive for over twenty years when other tables grapes under trials  died from apparent PD.
